RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City approve
of and execute a joint powers agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for
the 65th Street N.W., interchange environmental assessment, J7212.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City approve of and execute a professional
engineering services agreement with SRF Consulting Group Inc., for the preparation of the
environmental documentation and preliminary engineering design services necessary to obtain
the final MnDOT and FHWA approvals and permits for the proposed interchange at TH 52/65th
Street N.W., the reconstruction of 65th Street from TH 52 to 50th Avenue N.W., and the
reconstruction of the 55th Street/Bandel Road intersection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City does hereby certify that it has followed
applicable state laws in the advertisement, selection and contracting processes for enlisting SRF
Consulting, Inc.
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute these agreements on
�ehalf of the City.
