Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 247-25 - Resolution - Economic Vitality Funds for CRAH RESOLUTION Authorizing a Contract with the Coalition for Rochester Area Housing (CRAH) in the Amount of $1,000,000 to Invest in Housing Strategies and Advance the Community Housing Priorities as Determined by the Olmsted County Comprehensive Housing Study. WHEREAS, The City has previously contributed to the Coalition for Rochester Area Housing (CRAH), supporting the advancement of community housing priorities specified by the Olmsted County Comprehensive Housing Study; and WHEREAS, The CRAH Leadership Council Coalition is a funders collaborative made up of representatives from the City of Rochester, Olmsted County, Mayo Clinic, Destination Medical Center, and Rochester Area Foundation. The CRAH Leadership Council would exercise oversight over all proposals and projects; and WHEREAS, Progress in continuing to advance and meet the above objectives will be measured by the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as approved by the CRAH Leadership Council, and reported on a biannual basis to the City; and WHEREAS, The requested $1,000,000 contribution will be paid by the Economic Vitality project sourced from voter-approved Local Sales Tax funding. Funding shall be disbursed upon approval of the CRAH Leadership Council, which includes representatives from the City as described above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, MN that the Council does hereby authorize $1,000,000 in Economic Vitality funds to invest in housing strategies and advance the community housing priorities as determined by the Olmsted County Comprehensive Housing Study.
