RESOLUTION
Approving an Annual Gambling Permit for the Byron Youth Football Association
at Townies Philly Kitchen + Bar Located at 244 Soldiers Field Dr SW
WHEREAS, annual gambling licenses issued by the state require municipal permit
approval by Resolution in accordance with Minn. State Statutes 349.213 and 349.16;
and
WHEREAS, The Byron Youth Football Association (BYFA) is a qualifying 501c(3) non-
profit organization with ten other established premises by which they are licensed to
conduct charitable gambling activity within the City of Rochester; and
WHEREAS, The BYFA has met all the required criteria in accordance with the
Rochester Code of Ordinances Chapter 8-10. – Gambling and the corresponding state
laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, that the Council authorizes annual premises gambling permit for
the Byron Youth Football Association (BYFA) at Townies Philly Kitchen + Bar, located at
244 Soldiers Field Dr SW.
