RESOLUTION
Authorizing the Use of Public Safety Funds to Purchase Used Aerial Fire Apparatus.
WHEREAS, the current reserve aerial apparatus is 29 years old and requires extensive
repairs totaling $ 120,000 - $140,000 having greater than 14813 operating hours,
WHEREAS, investing in repairs for an aged fire apparatus is not cost effective,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
MN that approves the expenditure of up to $200,000 for inspection, purchase, and outfitting
of a used aerial fire apparatus.
