RESOLUTION
APPROVING 2027 State Fixed Route Transit and ADA Paratransit Operations and
Capital Funding.
WHEREAS, the City of Rochester applies for the 2027 Transit Operating and Capital Grants
and enters into an agreement with the State of Minnesota to provide public transportation
service in Rochester, MN during calendar year 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
MN that the City of Rochester agrees to provide a local share of up to 15% of the total
operating cost and up to 20% of the total capital costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Rochester provide 100% of the local share
necessary for expenses that exceed funds available from the State.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute these agreements and all other documents, certifications, and contracts in order to
obtain the grant assistance requested.
