RESOLUTION
Awarding Contract for Project No. J8915 Reconstruction of 100, 200, and
300 blocks of 5 Ave NW and 400 block of 3 ST NW
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvement(s): Project
No. J8915 – Reconstruction of 100, 200, and 300 blocks of 5 Ave NW and 400 block
of 3 ST NW, the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS it appears that ICON, LLC is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
Minnesota, that the bid of $1,647,987.75 is hereby accepted and execution of the standard
City contract for construction with ICON, LLC is authorized for the following approved local
improvements: Project No. J8915 – Reconstruction of 100, 200, and 300 blocks of 5
Ave NW and 400 block of 3 ST NW and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bidder shall execute all contracts within ten days
after the contract is ready for their signature, and if not executed by them in said time, they
shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
