RESOLUTION
Approving Final Plat No. CD2026-013PLAT, To Be Known as Preserve of Mayowood
Second Addition, For the Subdivision of 7.34 Acres 21 Residential Lots, Located
North of the Intersection of Abigail Ln SW and Mayowood Rd SW.
WHEREAS, Mayowood Lands, LLC., has requested from the City of Rochester Final Plat
approval for a subdivision to be Preserve of Mayowood Second Addition.
WHEREAS, the Final Plat proposes 21 lots on 7.34 acres of land located north of the
intersection of Abigail Ln SW and Mayowood Rd SW.
WHEREAS, the Council adopts the findings as described in the Community Development
memo dated May 4, 2026, and finds the proposal meets the criteria in R.C.O § 60.500.040
(subd. H) Final Plat.
WHEREAS, on July 6, 2026, the City of Rochester Common Council held a public hearing
to consider a Final Plat application for the development, adopted the findings of fact, and
approved the Final Plat subject to three conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
at a public hearing duly noticed and held on July 6, 2026, the following plat of lands in
Olmsted County, Minnesota is to be known and designated as follows:
Outlot C & D of Preserve of Mayowood
TO BE KNOWN as “Preserve of Mayowood Second Addition”, by Mayowood Lands,
LLC., Applicant, is hereby approved, and all dedications of land or interests in land for
public purposes as shown on said plat are hereby accepted, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Execution and recording of an amended Shoreland Protection Easement, an
amended Watermain Utility Easement, and an amended Private Drainage and
Utility Easement is required prior to recording of the plat,
2. Building permit applications located within the Special Flood Hazard Area will not
be approved until a Letter of Map Revision based on fill has been approved by
FEMA,
3. Prior to recording of the Final Plat application, the applicant shall submit all GIS
Impact and E911 Addressing Fees to the satisfaction of Olmsted County Public
Works Department.
