Minutes of a speci'al meeting of the Common Council of the City'.*of` Rochester
Minnesota, held in the Council Chambers, in the .City Hall,, in said City, :on
October 4th,1939.
Presid-ent Lemmon called t-he meeting to order-; at 4:45 o'clock P.Mi., the=
following members - being present.: Lemmon, Amundsen,. Fryer, Green, Moody, Mrachek,
Williams. 'Absent: None.
The call.for.the special -meeting was read and President Lemmon ordered that
the same be placed on file; said meeting having been called for the purpose of
ordering a hearing on the grading and construction of a sanitary sewer in Fourth
Avenue Southeast .from Fourth Street Southeast to Sixth Street Southeast, and any
other business the said Common Council might deem proper.
Alderman Amundsen'introduced.a resolution ordering a hearing on the con-
struction of a sanitary sewer ifi, Fourth Avenue•Southeast from Fourth Street
Southeast to 'Sixth Street Southeast, said hearing to -be held at 7:30 o'clock
P.M., on October 16th,1939, which was read.
Upon mbtion by Moody second by. t'iilliams, that the said resolution be
adopted as read, -and all voting in favor thereof, President Lemmon declared the
said resolution duly passed and adopted.
Alderman..Williams.introd.uced a resolution ordering a hearing on the grading
of Fourth Avenue Southeast from Fourth Street Southeast to -Sixth Street South-
east, sai.d..hearing to be held at 7:30 o'clock P..M., on October 16th,1939,which
was read.
Upon motion by Green second by Fryer that the said resolution be adopted as
read,, and all voting in favor thereof, President Lemmon declared the said resolu-
tion duly passed and adopted.
Upon motion by Moody second by Mrachek the Common Council adjourned.
