President Postier called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M., the follo%
ing members being present: President Postier, Aldermen Allen, Kamper
Larson, McNary, Powers and Strain. Absent: None.
Strain moved, Powers second to instruct the City. Administrator to
inform the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company that the 911 system
charges associated with Gold Cross Ambulance are no longer to be
billed to the City of Rochester. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion Carried.
McNarya,moved, Powers -second to approve the employment agreements
which have been formulated by the City's and employee's bargaining
representatives and instruct the City Attorney to prepare the necessal
resolutions for contract execution. Employee groups are as follows:
Rochester Inspector's Association for the calendar years 1976 and 197'
and subject to automatic.renewal thereafter; Engineering Technicians
Association for the calendar year 1976; International Union of Oper-
ating Engineers Local 34 pertaining to employees in the Water
Reclamation Division of the Public Services Department except
supervisory, confidential and clerical employees for the calendar
year 1976 and subject to automa.ti:c renewal thereafter; The Painters
accepted a wage of $.43 per hour ; International Union:of.pperating
Engineers Local 49 pertaining to employees in the Parks and Recreat-.
ion Department effective for the calendar year 1976 and subject to
automatic renewal thereafter; International Union of Operating
Engineers Local 49 pertaining to Street and Alley , Sewer Collection,
and Landfill employees effective for the calendar year 1976 and
subject to automatic renewal; Non Exempt Employees Association
pertaining to clerical and -secretarial emp-loyees of the Utility Board
for the calendar year 1976; Police renegotiated a two year agreement;
The Rochester Police Captains; Crossing Guards; and the Non -Exempt
Employees Association pertaining to clerical and secretarial employee!
of the City, excluding employees of the Fire Department, Police
Department, and the Public Utility Board for the calendar year 1976
and subject to automatic renewal thereafter. The Fire Department and
the Exempt employees have not settled at this time. Ayes (7), Nays
(0). Motion carried.
Having no further business, Allen moved, Powers second to adjourn
the meeting until January 5, 1976. Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion
