Powers moved, Gray second to approve the minutes of the March 13, and
20, 1978 meetings.: Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried.
C-1 Gray_moved,.Strain second to approve the Council's appointment of
James T. McNary of 411 16th Avenue S. W. to the Fire Civil Service
Commission. Mr. McNary will replace Dr. Paul Belau. The term of
office.will expire April 1, 1981. Ayes (6); Nays (0). Motion carried.
C-2 Allen moved, Powers second -to approve the Mayor's -Reappointments of
Boniface Drummond 712 Second St. S. W. and Dr. John C: Brodhun of
843:8ierra Lane N.•E: to the Housing Board of Appeals. The two year
terms will expire on.April 1, 1980. Ayes (6); Nays'(0).,Motion carri d.
C-3 Powers moved,'Gray second to approve the Mayor's Reappointments to
the Public Utility Board of CLair Seibert 1438, Damon Court and Thomas
Doyle -of 2204 17th Avenue N. W. Terms .will expire the second
Monday in June, 1979. Ayes (6), Nays-(0). Motion carried.
C-5 Allen moved, Gray second to refer.the Charter Commission Recommendations
regarding the Obsolete Charter Provisft ns_.back!::to the Charter Commission
with recommended changes from the Finance Department and the City
Clerk. Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried.
C-6 Powers moved, Solinger second to approve the Fire Commission request
of an appointment to the position of motor operator of Brad Sizer.
This is effective April 4, 1978. Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried.

E-6 Strain moved, Solinger second to adopt Resolution No. 200-78 rebiddi
for a hydraulic lift and utility body for signal maintenance of the
Traffic Engineering Dept. Bids will be opened at 11:00 A.M. on
April 14, 1978. Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried.
E-7 Allen moved, Gray second to adopt Resolution No. 201-78 approving
the low bid of Universal Ford for a Van truck for the Parking Meter
Department in the net amount of $5,081.44. Ayes (6), Nays ('0). Motion
carried. Gray moved, Allen second to table the awarding of the
one ton chassis until the bids are received on the hydraulic lift.

E-8 Gray moved, Strain second to adopt Resolution No. 202-78 awarding the
low bid of Ag-Chem Equipment Company to furnish two 6,000 gallon tank
trailers for the Water Reclamation Plant in the amount of $45,890.00.
Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried.
E-1-0 Powers moved, Strain second to award the low bid for Plant Mixed
Bituminous to Rochester Sand and Gravel to furnish mixed bituminous
for the 1978 construction season. The total cost is $29,150.00.
Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried. Resolution No. 203-78.
E-11 Gray moved, Strain second to adopt Resolution No. 204-78 authorizing
the City Clerk to advertise for bids for a rubber tired dozer for the
City Landfill. Bids will be opened on April 25, 1978 at 11:00 A.M.
Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion carried.
