Since then, I do not appear to have heard from the 1,?atter until - your letter of the f2tli insi. As you say, the time is short but I assume that not only the amend- ment to the Charter of March 11, 1924 w,?s duly" adopted but that the Election of August 19, 1924, was legally conducted and resulted in the bonds being auth- orized but also that the same are within the debt limit of the city and thL..t due proof of the same can be 'and will be furnished and that there remains but the resolution adopting the form of the bonds and providing' for their. sale This Resolution, T wi-ll be glad to prepare and forward and ITshall be 9-lad to give my opinion as to the re•ularity and ,validity of the proceedings upon having certified transcripts forwarded to me, for which services my cliarge would be $250,006 T will outline upon .a. separate sheet the general.,repirements as to the transcript of proceedings necessary to show the regularity and legality of the proceedings in such case. . Dear_ Sir: August 15, 1925. t 1 I hand you herewith my proposal to furnish a complete, legal service in connection with your proposed Issue of Sewage Disposal P l ant Bonds. You advise that this issue will amount in. the aggregate to the sum of $g60,000. In the event it should be more or less -the '371 cost can be prd-rated on a percentage basis. From what you say regarding. the times when you %rill want this money, I do nqt believe that the City will. gain anything by having an Eastern Attorneys opinion. ; iipwever., should it later be found advisable to secure such an -opinion, I will secure same and furnish it to the City at actual cost. This cost will not be over. 260 and T belir_ve that T will be able to secure for less. 'I have recently furnished this service for Le Sueur County and know that they aren, ell satisfied. You are, at liberty to write to Mr. McMillen, County Auditor, Le• Sueur Center., ?finnesota, for information as to the character of this service. I can also furnish other.references if you desire. My plan is to make this service as much of a practical one as a legal service. fy experience in buying Minnesota municipal bonds over a Period of years has helped me in this. Under this service I am working directly $or the interests.of thet City and am only interested in the sale `of bonds to the extent of doinlg all I can to secure a favorable price for the City.
