M, Meeting called to order by President.Weeks. Roll Call: Present: Weeks, Adler, Bach,'Tlicks, kitzman, Schroeder. �. I Absent: Postier. :f The call for the special meeting was read; the said special. meeting .I being c:,:lled. for the purpose of consideration of,the situation brought about by the cancellation by the Western Surety Company of the .official bond of Mrs. Mary !i A. Evan,%, local agent for the Western Surety Company, stated u that the only reason offered by her Uompany for the cancellation of "this bond is that two of the loc^.1 banks have furnished personal sureties for their depository b onds After a further discussion of the matter during; which Clarence 0. Brown stated that he was quite sure that his 7,13onding ,Company would write a bond for Mrs. Anderson, it ,(as informally agreed.that Mrs. Anderson should retain the custody of the CitSrus Sinking Fund Investm(ints and Funds, at which Alderman Schroeder demanded that r cord be made of his opposition to such a plan, in -so-far as the, cancellation of har officiz�l bond laves her not duly qu&lified as City Treasurer.
