Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 145-18 - J7328 Project Geometric Layout and Bid Advertisement F2 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that the plans, specifications and proposal forms for Alternate 2 for Project J7328, Rehabilitation of 19 St NW from Scott Rd NW to West Frontage HWY 52 Rd NW, which includes maintaining the travel lanes and reducing the on-street parking lane geometrics in order to add bike lanes, are hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Comprehensive Traffic & Parking Resolution, previously adopted and amended by the Common Council, be amended in the following respects: I. Replace paragraph (223.5) of Section B, "No Parking Zones" so as to read: 223.5 19th St NW, on both sides, from TH 52 west to the city limits, except on the south side from a point 135 feet more or less west of 20th Ave NW to a point 150 feet more or less east of Evergreen Dr NW, at all times. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for sealed bids for City Project J7328 Rehabilitation of 19 St NW from Scott Rd NW to West Frontage HWY 52 Rd NW in accordance with the specifications on file in the City Clerk's Office. Such proposals, which must be on a form of proposal prepared by the City will be received by the City Clerk at the earliest date upon notification from MNDOT State Aid Office of approval of project plans, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk, and two designated City Officials. The proposals will then be tabulated and presented for consideration by the Common Council at the next appropriate meeting.
