HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 261-18 - HazardousMaterialRemedian.USCustoms/TerminalBldng.ChangeOrder#2 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City Execute Change Order #2 with EnviroBate for the Hazardous Material Remediation as part of the US Customs/Terminal Building Remodel Project. This change order is necessary due to the following reasons: 1. Some additional asbestos piping, ceiling, tile, mastic, fittings, electrical insulators and transite piping was found and had to be properly removed and disposed of. 2. Nine original bid items (Items 5, 10, 11, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25 & 26) will be removed from the contract as these were assumed to be asbestos containing but were further tested and did not contain asbestos. The change order amount is $4,108 for a new contract amount of $100,494.50. The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the change order on behalf of the City.
