RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Civic Center Hotel JV, LLC, owner, has shown to the satisfaction of the City
of Rochester Common Council that it has complied with all conditions of approval
imposed upon its Land Subdivision Permit (Final Plat) and all applicable laws and
ordinances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, that after a hearing duly noticed and held on March 4, 2019, the
following plat of lands in Olmsted County, Minnesota are to be known and designated
as follows:
That part of Block 59, and part of the north-south vacated alley within said Block
59, Original Plat of Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 8, in said Block 59; thence North 00
degrees 21 minutes 48 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the west line of
said Block 59, a distance of 54.20 feet; thence North 89 degrees 29 minutes 59
seconds East, 8.40 feet; thence South 82 degrees 48 minutes 50 seconds East,
26.03 feet; thence South 84 degrees 12 minutes 27 seconds East, 65.34 feet;
thence South 80 degrees 18 minutes 27 seconds East, 90.33 feet; thence South
70 degrees 55 minutes 05 seconds East, 43.37 feet; thence South 53 degrees 36
minutes 52 seconds East, 11.89 feet; thence South 80 degrees 18 minutes 27
seconds East, 20.33 feet; thence South 74 degrees 57 minutes 09 seconds East,
31.36 feet to the east line of said Block 59; thence South 00 degrees 16 minutes
18 seconds East, along said east line, 129.49 feet to a line which is 9.00 feet
northeasterly of, as measured at right angles to and parallel with, the centerline
of the main track of the Dakota Minnesota and Eastern Railroad (formerly
Chicago & Northwestern Transportation Company) (said line also being 41.64
feet northerly of the southeast corner of said Block 59 as measured along the
east line of said Block 59); thence North 66 degrees 16 minutes 44 seconds
West, along said parallel line, 316.40 feet to the west line of said Block 59;
thence North 00 degrees 21 minutes 48 seconds West, along said west line, 5.86
feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 0.68 acres, more or less.
TO BE KNOWN AS CIVIC ON FIRST SUBDIVISION, submitted by Civic Center Hotel
JV, LLC, owner, is hereby approved and all dedications of land or interests in land for
public purposes as shown on said plat are hereby accepted, subject to the following
conditions:
1. The Land Exchange Agreement and associated deeds shall be recorded
concurrent with Final Plat recording.
