RESOLUTION
Storm Water Capital Improvement Program Fund Transfer from J6709 Storm Water
Education Development Initiatives and J6713 40 ST NW Flood Mitigation to J1023
Development Services and Infrastructure Center and North Station Projects.
WHEREAS, storm water management facilities, including storm water treatment and
conveyance infrastructure, have been constructed as part of City Project J1023
Development Services and Infrastructure Center and North Station Projects;
WHEREAS, these storm water management facilities achieve objectives related to
multiple public education, total maximum daily load (TMDL) pollutant reduction, and
Capital Improvement Program (CIP) goals of the City’s Storm Water Management
Program; and
WHEREAS, these storm water management facilities and educational initiatives were
planned as part of CIP Projects J6709 Storm Water Education Development Initiatives
and J6713 40 ST NW Flood Mitigation.
WHEREAS, all referenced projects benefitted mutually from joint planning, design and
construction through increased efficiency and design modifications only made possible by
concurrent construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
Minnesota, that $40,395.00 be transferred from City Project J6709 Storm Water Education
Development Initiatives and $57,828.73 be transferred from City Project J6713 40 ST NW
Flood Mitigation to J1023 Development Services and Infrastructure Center and North
Station Projects for material costs associated with the water quality treatment and storm
sewer infrastructure, respectively.
