In honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day (January 17, 2022) and Black
History Month (February), the City of Rochester and DMC co-hosted an
African American Construction Entrepreneur event. More than 40
people, including entrepreneurs, presenters, prime contractors and
project sponsors participated in the event. Videos of local African
American-owned construction companies were produced to help
them promote their services.
