WHEREAS, The City of Rochester has plans to construct a multi-use path along T.H.14 and Broadway Ave S from Crossroads Dr SW to 14 St SW; and WHEREAS, valuations have been performed for the land rights needed on the properties impacted by this project. Based upon negotiations between the City and the affected property owners, settlements have been reached with the owners of five impacted parcels, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City authorize the purchase of land rights from the listed property owners for the Trunk Highway 14 Trail Construction, Project No. J4693. Owner: Elton Hills Plaza West, LLC (Mr Carwash) Property Address: 333 Crossroads Dr SW Compensation: $800.00 Owner: 1201 Broadway Investment, LLC (Chipotle) Property Address: 1201 Broadway Ave S, Suite 56 Compensation: $5,150.00 Owner: Crossroads Center, LLC (Outback Steakhouse) Property Address: 333 Crossroads Dr SW Compensation: $2,710.00 (includes $660 for tree damage) Owner: Home Federal Savings and Loan Property Address: 1201 Broadway Ave S, Suite 54 Compensation: $1,200.00 Owner: DM40, LLC (Newts) Property Address: 1201 Broadway Ave S, Suite 58 Compensation: $1,700.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA, THIS DAY OF , 2021.
