RESOLUTION
Approving 2023 State Fixed Route Funding.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City of
Rochester enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota to provide public
transportation service in Rochester, Minnesota for CY 2023 fixed route transit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City agree to provide a local share of up to 20%
percent of the total operating cost and 20% of the total capital costs for the CY 2023
regular route transit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City agrees to provide 100 percent of the local
share necessary for expenses that exceed funds available from the State.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute these agreements and all other documents, certifications, and contracts in
order to obtain the grant assistance requested.
