HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 261-22 - Resolution - Hybrid Meeting Management and Broadcast Capability Upgrades RESOLUTION Authorizing an agreement with Bluum Technology for equipment and installation of hybrid meeting and remote work upgrades. WHEREAS, at the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic in March of 2020, the City of Rochester began offering remote work and meeting opportunities, as available; and WHEREAS, the City continues to conduct more hybrid meetings at the staff level; and WHEREAS, there remains a need for hybrid meetings at the Council level, as well as for Boards and Commissions; and WHEREAS, the goal of providing a better hybrid meeting experience for residents and business aligns with the City of Rochester’s Strategic Priority of Quality Services for Quality Living; WHEREAS, the City of Rochester has identified key areas to upgrade technology to improve the hybrid meeting experience for residents, businesses, City Teammates, Council, and Boards and Commissions. NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City authorizes the agreement with Bluum Technologies for the hybrid meeting and remote work upgrades to the Council/Board Chambers, City Hall Conference Room 104, Library Auditorium and Library Meeting Room C, and pay the cost of $236,007.79, plus a contingency of up to $23,600.78, for a total of $259,608.57.
