RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Common Council on February20, 2013, the City Clerk was

directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the following local improvement(s): Project No. SP 159-106-
19 (J-7272) "Reconstruct/Rehabilitate 2nd Street SW from 18th Avenue to West Circle Drive"; and,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and
filed in her office for public inspection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota:
(1) A hearing shall be held on the 1st day of April, 2013 in the Council/Board Chamber at the Government
Center at 7:00 PM to consider such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning
property affected by such improvement(s) will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such
assessment.
(2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be
published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, which notice shall state the
date, time and place of such meeting and general nature of improvement(s), the area proposed to be assessed,
the total cost of the improvement(s), the total amount of the proposed assessment, that written or oral
objections will be considered at the hearing, and that no appeal may be taken unless a written objection is
filed prior to or at the hearing. The City Clerk shall also cause such notice to be mailed at least two weeks
prior to the hearing to the Owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
