RESOLUTION
• WHEREAS, a contract has been let for.the following local improvement(s): Project No. 5508-117 (J-7212)
"651h Street NW Interchange including auxiliary lanes on TH52 from 55'h Street to 65`h Street" and the contract
price for such improvement(s) is $9,893,451.89 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said
improvement(s) amount to $2,968,035.57 so that the total cost of the improvement(s) will be $12,861,487.46 and of
this cost the City will pay $9,871,396.20 as its share thereof.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota:
(1) The cost of such improvement(s) to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $2,990,091.26.
(2) The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
specially assessed for such improvement(s) against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law. A copy .of such proposed assessment shall be filed in
the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
(3) Upon completion of such proposed assessment(s) the City Clerk shall notify the Council thereof.
(4) The City Clerk is instructed to record in the deferred assessment register the sum of N/A, to be
subsequently paid by certain of the properties benefited thereby under the following circumstances (based on senior
citizenship or development): N/A together with simple interest to accrue thereon at the rate of N/A percent per annum
for the time period from the date of the adoption of this resolution for a period of years or until said amount is paid,
whichever occurs first.
(5) The City Clerk is instructed to record in the future assessment register the sum of N/A to be subsequently
assessed against properties benefited thereby but not presently assessed or assessable with simple interest thereon to
accrue at the gate of N/A percent per annum for a period of N/A years from the date of the adoption of this resolution
or until assessed, whichever occurs first.
