RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City execute
an agreement with Olmsted County concerning the following topics:
1. The County will pay the City $107,365 for the WAC/SAC charges at
the County Public Works Facility.
2. The County will invoice the City the amount of $47,000 for the
excess right-of-way associated with the relocation of Fire Station #2.
3. A City/County agreement will be prepared for the construction of
the intersection improvements on 16th St. S.W. and Mayowood
Road by which the City of Rochester would construct the
improvements, the Mayor and City Council determining whether the
intersection is to be controlled by a roundabout or other traffic
signal, and the upgrading of the traffic signals at 16th St. and So.
Broadway, 16th St. and Apache Drive, and 16th St. and County 8 to
• current standards. At the end of the construction and traffic signal
upgrades, 16th St. SW will be turned over to the City as a city
street. The City and County would share in the project costs as
previously agreed to.
The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the agreement on
behalf of the City.
