A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement 11or bids for the following improvement(s): Mayo Civic Center
Project 3264, "Repair and Reupholstering ofT'aylor Arena 200 Level Seating", bids were received, opened and
tabulated recording to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
I.Telescopic Seating Systems,LLC$172,575,00,Alternate 1 $0.00,Alternate 2$65.00(up to 8 included in base
bid)
2. American Office Systems$183,062.25,Alternate l $0.00,Alternate 2 $0,00; and,
WI..IEREAS, it appears that Telescopic Seating Systems, LLC ofllolland, MI is the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW TI IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota:
(l)Thnt the bid of$172,575.00 is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the standard City contract for construction with Telescopic Seating Systems, LLC of Holland,M I
in the name of the City of Rochester for the following local fntprovement(s): Mayo Civic Center Project 3264,
"Repair and Reupholstering of TaylorArenn 200 Level Seating",according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the Common Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
(2)'Flic City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids,except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract
has been executed.
All contracts sliall be executed by the bidder within tell days after the contract is ready for his signature, and if'
not executed by him in said time, he shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
