WHEREAS, pursuant to all advertisement for bids for the following improvenient(s): Aggregate Season
Supply 2014 bids Nvere received, opened and tabulated according to law,and the following bids were received
complying Nvith the advertisement: See Attached; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that Various Suppliers of Minnesota and Wisconsin is the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota:
(1)That the bid of as show above is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the standard City contract for construction with Various Suppliers of Minnesota and Wisconsin
in the name of the City of Rochester for the following local improvement(s): Aggregate Season Supply 20H
according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Common Council and on file in the otlice of the
City Clerk.
(2)The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids,except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract
has been executed.
All contracts shall be executed by the bidder within tell days after the contract is ready for his signature, and if
not executed by him in said time,he shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
