AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ENACTING CLAUSE F OF
SUBDIVISION 1 AND SUBDIVISION 8 OF SECTION 63.427, AND
AMENDING AND REENACTING CLAUSES B AND D OF
SUBDIVISION 2 OF SECTION 63.427 OF THE ROCHESTER
CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO ADDITIONAL
LOCATION, DESIGN, AND LANDSCAPING GUIDELINES FOR
NEW PARKING FACILITIES IN THE CDC AND NON-
RESIDENTIAL ZONES WITHIN THE DOWNTOWN PARKING
OVERLAY ZONE.
The following is a summary of the amendment to the Downtown Parking Overlay Zone
ordinance as adopted by the Rochester Common Council on September 16, 2013, and is
published pursuant to Section 6.07 of the Rochester Home Rule Charter and Section 331A.01,
subd. 10 of the Minnesota Statutes. The Rochester Common Council approved the publication
of this ordinance summary at its August 19, 2013, meeting. A copy of this ordinance is on file at
the Office of the City Clerk, 201 Fourth Street S.E., Room 135, Rochester, MN, and at the
Rochester Public Library, 101 Second Street S.E., Rochester, MN.
This ordinance provides additional location, design, and landscaping guidelines for new
parking facilities in the CDC and non-residential zones within the Downtown Parking Overlay
• Zone.
