HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 097-11 • RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on September 13, 2010, the Common Council of the City of Rochester adopted Resolution No. 515-09 setting wastewater rates and fees for the years 2010 through 2015; and, WHEREAS, a revision to the resolution eliminated specific Plant Investment Fees (PIF) for 3" meters in size and larger than 3" in size and was intended to cap the maximum PIF rate at the 2"water meter size rate for all water meters installed larger than 2" in size. WHEREAS, City staff is concerned that the original resolution could be misinterpreted to read that there would no PIF for water meters larger than 2". WHEREAS, City staff recommends that Table 3 of Resolution No. 515-09 be amended to reflect the maximum PIF Rate applies to water meters > 2". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that Table 3 of Resolution No. 515-09 be amended to reflect that the maximum PIF rate applies to water meters greater-than-or-equal-to 2" (> 2"). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the remainder of Resolution No. 515-09 be reaffirmed *and remain in effect.
