BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City does
hereby approve the Rochester Downtown Alliance's use of the following six downtown skyway
bridges for Family Event, November 1, 2011, through February 29, 2012:
1. All three Second Street Skyways(six clings)
2. Mayo Civic Ramp area (one to two clings)
3. Shops at University Square (street/skyway)
4. Marriott subway (wall, window and floor clings)
5. Peace Plaza Skyway (window clings for book)
6. Barnes & Noble Skyway (wall clings)
7. First Street Skyway (between Brackenridge/US Bank Building)
8. US Bank Building (skyway/subway—floor, wall and elevator clings)
9. Civic Center Skyway (two clings)
10. Broadway (between Doubletree/Shops at U)
11. Brackenridge Skyway (floor/window clings)
12. Marriott Hotel (floor/wall clings)
13. Kahler Hotel Skyway (floor/wall/clings/cutout)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval is subject to the following five conditions:
1. RDA must obtain permission from the abutting property/business owners
where the materials will be installed;
2. Any damaged materials will be immediately removed or repaired;
3. . Materials and residues will be completely removed by March 2, 2012;
4. Murals must be removed no later than August 31, 2011; and,
• 5. Any murals damaged by accident, normal wear and tear, or vandalism shall
be either promptly repaired or removed.
