RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, state law requires a public hearing to be held concerning any amendment to
a Home Rule Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the. City of
Rochester that a public hearing be established for January 3, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., in the
Council/Board Room of the Government Center for the purpose of obtaining public comment
and recommendations concerning the proposed charter amendment relating to the absence of
the presiding officer of the Common Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to publish notice of the public
hearing established herein by publication of this notice for two consecutive weeks prior thereto.
