RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the owner of Forest Knoll First Subdivision identified wetland on property
owned by Arcon Development located south of 48th Street S.E., east of Highway 63, and west of
St. Bridgett's. Road. The Type 2 wetland consists of 4,690 square feet (0.1 acres). The
applicant proposes to fill the entire wetland. The applicant intends to purchase wetland credits
from a wetland bank owner located within the Root River watershed in Mower County. The
required replacement area is 10,554 square feet (0.24 acres); and,
WHEREAS, the Technical Evaluation Panel met and recommended approval of the
application subject to the following condition:
1. The applicant and wetland bank owner must complete the purchase of credits and
submittal of a wetland credit withdrawal form to the Minnesota Board of Water and
Soil Resources.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
•Rochester that the City approve the Wetland Replacement Plan presented by the owner of
Forest Knoll First Subdivision subject to the above condition.
The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to approve this plan on behalf
of the City.
