RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the Rochester
Police Department apply for, accept and enter into a 2004 Homeland Security and Law
Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program Grant with the Division of Homeland Security and
Emergency Management, State of Minnesota or the federal government. The funding will be for
terrorism prevention equipment, exercises, training and planning activities.
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to sign the application, the grant
agreement when approved, and any other documents needed to implement this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA, THIS DAY OF yW 12004.
