RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, state law requires a public hearing to be held concerning any amendment to
a Home Rule Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester that a public hearing be established for June 21, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., in the
Council/Board Room of the Government Center for the purpose of obtaining public comment
and recommendations concerning the proposed charter amendment relating to the holding of a
special election for a vacant city office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to publish notice of the public
hearing established herein by publication of this notice for two consecutive weeks prior thereto.
