HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 306-04 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Fred Schmidt identified wetlands as part of its Hundred Acre Woods Subdivision south of Highway 14 and north of Eastwood Road. There are 4.97 acres of Type 2 wetlands located in _four separate areas along a common elevation associated with hillside groundwater seeps. The applicant received approval from the City Council in August, 2002, for the filling or draining of 0.86 acres of wetland due to street and lot grading, and stormwater pond construction. As a result of grading requirements, the applicant must now cause the loss of an additional 0.09 acres of wetland. The applicant proposes to increase the replacement purchased from the Fred Schmidt wetland bank in Haverhill Township; and, WHEREAS, the Technical Evaluation Panel met and recommended approval of the application subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant must provide a letter of credit or other surety to the City and must complete the wetland rules replacement procedures by completing the withdrawal of credits from the wetland bank. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City approve the Wetland Replacement Plan presented by the City of Rochester/Rochester International Airport subject to the above condition. The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to approve this plan on behalf of the City.
