RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota,
that the attached sheets marked "EXHIBIT A" are a tabulated statement and list of the
number of votes case for each person in the Special City Primary Election for the First
Ward held on March 1, 2005, in the City of Rochester, Minnesota, as determined by.
said Common Council of the Canvass of the said return of the said election.
BE IT RESOLVED that 1,280 persons voted in the Special Primary Election for
the First Ward with a pre-registration total of 9,718.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, that Amy Blenker and Gene Peters have been declared the
elected winners for the First Ward Councilmember Primary Election. These names
shall be placed on the ballot for the April 5, 2005, Special General Election.
