HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 307-05 7 Z I E 1 h I a t ` Y 1 e. 1 1 s 5' s • RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Carpenter & Torgerson, LLC, applied for an amendment to Incentive Development #97-07, known as SpringHill Suites. The Applicant is proposing to change the existing identification signs on the building. The property is located at 1125 Second Street S.W., west of 11 th Avenue S.W., and east of 12th Avenue S.W; and, WHEREAS, R.C.O. § 61.148 sets forth the criteria for this proposed amendment; and, WHEREAS, based upon Section 61.148, the Planning and Zoning Commission adopted findings of facts supporting the application and recommended:the approval of the proposed amendment; and, WHEREAS, the Common Council held a public hearing on the amendment to the Incentive Development Preliminary Plan #97-07 on July 6, 2005, and permitted all interested persons to be heard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that it adopt the Planning and Zoning Commission's findings of fact and that the amendment to the Incentive Development requested by Carpenter & Torgerson, LLC, is granted with Option 2 (Channel Letter Style). s PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA, THIS AY 0F1 , 2005. l/ PRESIDENT OF SAID COMMON COUNCIL ATTEST: Fug CITY LE APPROVED THIS U{' DAY OF �, 2005.
