WHEREAS, state law requires a public hearing to be held concerning any amendment to
a Home Rule Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester that a public hearing be established for January 18, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., in the
Council/Board Room of the Government Center for.the purpose of obtaining public comment
and recommendations concerning the proposed charter amendment relating to bid openings. .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to publish notice of the public
hearing established herein by publication of this notice for two consecutive weeks prior thereto.
