BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City approve
a meet and confer agreement with the department heads for the year 2006 concerning their
employment for City of Rochester as follows:
1. A 2% increase in base pay effective January 1, 2006.
2. An adjustment to the department head pay range to reflect the adjustment
in the base pay and work points with those positions in the RPEA union to
conform with pay equity requirements.
3. A pay-for-performance increase of 0-3%.
4. A department head at the maximum of his/her pay range should be eligible
to receive a pay for performance increase of 0.5-3% paid as a lump sum.
5. Personal leave days depending upon their length of employment with the
City (28 hours for 0-3 years of service, 36 hours for 3-5 years of service and
• 48 hours for 5 years or more of service). This leave is paid time off and
may be taken at the department head's discretion. Personal leave must be
taken in the year earned and must not be carried over into a subsequent
year.
6. Miscellaneous amendments to the ICMA Vantagecare Retirement Health
Savings plan.
