. RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the'City of Rochester,Minnesota:
(1) The petition presented to the Common Council requesting the construction of the
following local improvement(s): "Sanitary Sewer and Watermain to Serve 16th Avenue and
35th Street N.E."pursuant to Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes, as amended, is hereby referred
to the Public Works Department to determine the adequacy of the petition and with
instructions to report to the Common Council with all convenient speed advising in a preliminary
way whether the proposed improvement(s) is necessary, cost-effective and feasible; whether such
improvement(s) should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement(s); a description of the area benefited by the proposed to be assessed for such
improvement(s), and the estimated cost of the improvement(s) as recommended.
(2)The proposed improvement(s) is also referred to the Public Works Committee for
consideration and recommendation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA,AT A MEETING THEREOF HELD THIS 22nd DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 2006.
