BE IT RESOLVED_ by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota,
that the attached sheets marked "EXHIBIT A" are a tabulated statement and list of the
number of votes cast for each person in the State General Election for the Mayor and
First, Third and Fifth Ward Councilmember positions held on November 7, 2006, in the
City of Rochester, Minnesota, as determined by said Common Council of the Canvass
of the said return of the said election.
BE IT RESOLVED that 36,108 persons voted in the State General Election for
with a pre-registration total of 56,947 voters.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Rochester, Minnesota, that Ardell F. Brede as Mayor and Ed Hruska, First Ward, Bruce
Snyder, Third Ward and Bob Nowicki, Fifth Ward, have been declared the elected
winners of the State General Election.
