HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 222-07 y RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Rochester submitted a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) grant application to the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (PFA) to install a shoreline buffer around Silver Lake in August 2006; and, WHEREAS, the PFA determined that the Silver Lake Shoreline Buffer TMDL Project met the grant criteria and was eligible to receive grant funds pending certification by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA); and, WHEREAS, the MPCA certified the Silver Lake Shoreline Buffer TMDL Project to the PFA in May 2007; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City will enter into a grant agreement and any amendments thereto with the PFA for the above referenced project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City of Rochester certifies that it will comply with all • applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant agreement as necessary to implement the TMDL project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement this resolution.
