HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 019-08 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City approve a meet and confer agreement with the department heads for the years 2008 and 2009 concerning their employment for City of Rochester as follows: i 1. A 2.75% increase in base pay effective January 1, 2008, and a 3.50% increase in base pay effective January 1, 2009. 2. An adjustment to the department head pay range by 2.75% effective January 1, 2008, and an adjustment to the department head pay range by 3.50% effective January 1, 2009. 3. A pay-for-performance increase of 0-3%. 4. A department head at the maximum of his/her pay range should be eligible to receive a pay for performance increase of 0.5-3% paid as a lump sum. 5. Personal leave days depending upon their length of employment with the City (32 hours for 0-3 years of service, 40 hours for 3-5 years of service, 52 • hours for 5-10 years of service and 60 hours for 10 years or more of service). This leave is paid time off and may be taken at the department head's discretion. Personal leave must be taken in the year earned and must not be carried over into a subsequent year. 6. Eligibility to participate in the ICMA Retirement Healthcare savings account consistent with the Department Heads Meet and Confer recommendation of January 7, 2008.
