• RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City adopt a
modified personnel policy regarding protective footwear for seasonal/temporary employees. A
copy of the policy is attached.

PERSONNEL POLICY
• PROTECTIVE FOOTWEAR — SEASONAUTEMPORARY EMPLOYEES
A. Policy
It is the policy of the City of Rochester to reimburse seasonal/temporary employees
a portion of the cost for protective footwear when their position requires the use of
such.
B. Eligibility
Seasonal/temporary employees required to wear protective footwear as part of their
employment with the City of Rochester.
C. Guidelines
Eligible employees will receive reimbursement in the amount of $40.00 per month
for each month of employment with a maximum of $120.00 per year or the total
cost of their protective footwear, which ever is less.
Employees will receive reimbursement for their protective footwear when their
employment ends for the year or after (3) three months of employment, which ever
occurs first.
A completed reimbursement form along with the original receipt must be submitted
to Human Resources for reimbursement.
