RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that the City submit
an application for, accept any resulting award of grant funds from, act as fiscal agent and as
administrator of the grant, and execute a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of
Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, for the project entitled Safe and Sober Communities 2009
during the period from October 1, 2008, through September 30, 2009.
The Mayor, City Clerk and Police Chief are authorized and directed to sign the
application, the grant agreement when approved, any amendments thereto, and any other
documents needed to implement this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA, THIS DAY OF a J, 2008.
