AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1466 ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WITHIN THE CITY OF
ROCHESTER AN URBAN SERVICE DISTRICT AND A RURAL
SERVICE DISTRICT AS SEPARATE TAXING DISTRICTS".
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER DO ORADIN:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 1466, is amended by renumbering the present
Section 10 as Section 11, and adding a new Section 10 to read as follows:
Section 10. Rural Service Districts; Platted Land. Notwithstanding
the provisions of Sections 3, 4 and 7 of this Ordinance, a rural
service district may include platted parcels of land which the
common council determines to be rural in characted and not developed
for urban residential, commercial, or industrial purposes. The
common council shall annually review the tax ratioapplicable to
such platted parcels as determined under Section 6 of this ordinance,
and shall annually review the status of all such platted parcels to
determine whether such parcels continue to qualify for inclusion
in the rural service district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its official publication.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
Minnesota this 7th day of February, 1972.

Paul McCue being duly sworn says that he now is and during all the times hereinafter
stated has been General Manager of the Post Bulletin Company, publisher and printer
of the Rochester Post Bulletin, a daily newspaper, printed and published in the City
of Rochester, in said Olmsted County, State of Minnesota, daily except Sunday of each
week.
That he has knowledge of the facts and knows personally that the printed notice hereto
attached, cut from the columns of said newspaper, was inserted, printed and published
in said newapaper once in each week for two weeks, and that all of said publications
were made in the English language, and was printed and published in said newspaper on
Saturaday, February 12, 1972 and Saturday, February 19, 1972.
Further affiant saith not, save that this affidavit is made pursuant to the laws
of the State of Minnesota, and is intended to accompany the bill for the publication
in said newspaper of the aforesaid legal advertisement.
