HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 028-24 - Resolution - CD2023-020PLAT Mercy Hill Second RESOLUTION Approving Major Land Subdivision No. CD2023-020PLAT, To Be Known As Mercy Hill Second, A Project Consisting Of 38 Residential Lots And Two Outlots On 28.60 Acres, Located West Of Rome Circle NW. WHEREAS, Farmland LLC has requested from the City of Rochester Major Land Subdivision approval to be known as Mercy Hill Second. WHEREAS, the Major Land Subdivision proposes 38 residential lots and two outlots on 28.60 acres of land located west of Rome Circle NW. WHEREAS, the Council adopts the Planning Commission findings as described attached to the Community Development memo dated January 10, 2024, and finds the proposal meets the criteria in R.C.O § 60.500.040 (subd. G) Major Land Subdivision Permit. WHEREAS, on January 10, 2024, the City of Rochester Planning Commission reviewed the application and recommended approval subject to four conditions. WHEREAS, on February 5, 2024, the City of Rochester Common Council held a public hearing to consider this application and adopted the findings of fact and approved the application subject to four conditions. NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester that, based upon the above-stated findings of fact, the Applicant has shown by a preponderance of the evidence submitted at the public hearing that it has satisfied the above criteria subject to the imposition of the below-stated four conditions of approval. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City approve Major Land Subdivision No. CD2023-020PLAT requested by Farmland LLC, subject to the conditions of approval shown below. CONDITIONS 1. Prior to acceptance of a Final Plat Application, a Civil and Stormwater Management Plan shall be approved by Rochester Public Works. 2. Prior to acceptance of a Final Plat Application, the applicant shall revise the utility plans to the satisfaction of RPU. 3. Prior to acceptance of a Final Plat Application, the applicant shall coordinate with Olmsted County Planning Department to revise street names. 4. Prior to recordation of the Final Plat, the applicant shall meet their parkland obligation.
