RESOLUTION
Awarding Contract for Reconstruction of Pedestrian Ramp and Signal
Improvements - Project No. J4726.
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvement(s):
Project No. J4726 Reconstruction of Pedestrian Ramp and Signal Improvements, the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Total
$337,889.14
Doyle Conner Co
Icon, LLC.
$396,522.00
Pember Companies, Inc.
$413,913.25
Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC $433,890.19; and
WHEREAS it appears that Doyle Conner Co is the lowest responsive and responsible
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester,
Minnesota, that the bid of $337,889.14 is hereby accepted and execution of the standard
City contract for construction with Doyle Conner Co, is authorized for the following
approved local improvements: Project No. J4726 Reconstruction of Pedestrian Ramp and
Signal Improvements; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bidder shall execute all contracts within ten days
after the contract is ready for their signature, and if not executed by them in said time,
they shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
