Funded DBE Barriers Study
In December 2022, DMC requested
proposals for a Disadvantaged
Business Enterprise barriers study.
St. Paul-based Makee Company was
selected to conduct the research.
Over the past couple of months,
their team conducted one-on-one
interviews, hosted listening sessions,
reviewed City of Rochester policies
and procedures and researched best
practices of other communities. The
final report with recommendations
has been received and will be
presented to City Council during a
study session on April 17.
