LINK Rapid Transit
Virtual Open House(s)
Tuesday, August 6th
8:30-10 a.m. or 1-3:30 p.m.
The City of Rochester contracted with
Knutson Construction to plan and host
an Open House for construction
contractors interested in bidding on
the LINK Rapid Transit project.
The LINK RT project is funded by
FTA Small Starts Grant program and
must adhere to Federal Acquistion
Regulations procurement policies to
promote and provide full and open
competition.
The project has a Disadvantaged
Business Enterprise (DBE) contracting
goal of 12% (approx. $7.5 million). The
overall relative availability for DBEs
was calculated at 12.4%. Many factors
were taken into consideration to adjust
that figure including DBE contracting
achievements on previous FTA funded
projects, City of Rochester CIP, DMC
funded and MnDOT projects.
