HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 215-24 - Resolution - CD2024-028PLAT - Woodcrest Addition Final Plat RESOLUTION Approving Final Plat No. CD2024-028PLAT, To Be Known as Woodcrest Addition, a Subdivision Consisting of 8 Residential Lots, on 3.15 acres, Located at The Southeast Corner of 24th Ave. SE and 15th St. SE. WHEREAS, Commercial Property Management has requested from the City of Rochester Final Plat approval for a subdivision to be known as Woodcrest Addition; and WHEREAS, the Final Plat proposes 8 residential Lots, 3.51 acres of land located at the southeast corner of 24th Ave. SE and 15th St. SE; and WHEREAS, the Council adopts the findings as described attached to the Community Development memo dated October 21, 2024, and finds the proposal meets the criteria in R.C.O § 60.500.040 (subd. H) Final Plat; and WHEREAS, on October 21, 2024, the City of Rochester Common Council held a public hearing to consider a Final Plat application for the development, adopted the findings of fact, and approved the Final Plat subject to three conditions. NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, at a public hearing duly noticed and held on October 21, 2024, the following plat of lands in Olmsted County, Minnesota is to be known and designated as follows: The Easterly 624.63 feet of the following described parcel: That part of the NE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 106, Range 13, Olmsted County, Minnesota, described as beginning at the center of Section 7; thence East along the South line of said NE 1/4 990.00 feet; thence North parallel with the West line of said NE 1/4 220.00 feet; thence West 990.00 feet to the West line of said NE 1/4; thence South 220.00 feet to the point of beginning. Said tract containing 3.15 acres, more or less. TO BE KNOWN as “Woodcrest Addition”, by Commercial Property Management, Applicant, is herby approved, and all dedications of land or interests in land for public purposes as shown on said plat are hereby accepted, subject to the follow conditions: 1. Prior to mylar submission for subdivision recordation with Olmsted County Property Records, the applicant shall make payment to the Parks and Recreation Department for the required Parkland Dedication Fee. 2. Prior to mylar submission for subdivision recordation with Olmsted County Property Records, the applicant shall receive approval of all necessary Civil Engineering Improvement Plans by Public Works and RPU. 3. Prior to mylar submission for subdivision recordation with Olmsted County Property Records, the applicant shall provide documentation of payment to Olmsted County for GIS & Addressing Fees.
