Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 056-25 - Resolution - Contract Award - RAM Construction - Center Street Ramp Reconstruction J2592 RESOLUTION Awarding Contract for Project No. J2592 Center Street Ramp Restoration WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Project No. J2592 Center Street Ramp Restoration, the following bids were received: Preference (6%) Proposer Bid Amount Evaluated Total Max $60k on $1M Cy-Con Inc $4,236,710.00 0 $4,236,710.00 Paragon Restoration II, Inc. $4,666,080.00 0 $4,666,080.00 RAM Construction $3,798,275.00 $60,000.00 $3,858,275.00 Restoration Systems Inc. $4,357,138.00 $60,000.00 $4,417,138.00 Western Specialty Contractors $4,762,100.00 $60,000.00 $4,822,100.00 WHEREAS, RAM Construction Services of Minnesota, LLC is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that the bid of $3,798,275 is hereby accepted and execution of a contract for construction is authorized for Project No. J2592 Center Street Ramp Restoration; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota to reject the bids from Paragon Restoration II, Inc, Restoration Systems Inc. and Western Specialty Contractors as unresponsive, for failure to submit the required Concrete Surface Repair Technician (CSRT) Certification; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to return to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until the contract has been executed; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bidder shall execute all contracts within ten days after the contract is ready for their signature, and if not executed by them in said time, they shall be deemed to have abandoned the same.
